Description

The motifs on the Münakkaş Plate are inspired by the tiles of the Bursa Green Mosque, which was built in 1413 by Sultan Mehmet Çelebi, son of Yıldırım Bayezid.

Yeşil Mosque is a two-storey, two-domed, magnificent structure built by Çelebi Mehmet as the Government House, and is of great importance with its tile decorations as well as its architectural features. It has the first tile ornamented mihrab of the early Ottoman period.

Münakkaş Plate is made of handmade glass and all the relief patterns on it are handcrafted using 24-carat gold gilding. Production is limited to 2,000 pieces.
