Ceylan Sürahi

A gazelle, au-eyed… Attacked by a lion, timid and fussy. He desperately seeks help from the glass, running endlessly among the enamels. Towards the middle of the 14th century, in enamelled glass; The use of red on the contours, blue on the wide surfaces and writings, and gold on the remaining surfaces has become almost the rule. Ceylan Jug is inspired by an antique glass jug dated to the middle of the 14th century. On the medallions on the handmade glass jug, stylized gazelles attacked by the lion are depicted, and the jug is named after these gazelles.
